The “pansy” series came to life out of Anthony’s love of Andy Warhol’s Flower paintings and a need to reclaim a derogatory term that he had been called as a bullied teenager. Anthony wanted to bring happiness to all through these colorful, fun and playful flowers. Since the beginning, the main graphic form has remained constant with the patterns and design continuously evolving.
